Hard
luck to the seniors who were defeated by Abbeylara in the Leader Cup
last Sunday week. The players will now enjoy a deserved break before
getting back to business in 2010 under the guidance of recently
appointed team trainer Mickey Harkin. The club would like to thank
Padraig Mulligan, Sean McGuaran and TJ Reilly for the hard work they
put in all year in preparing the team along with Dan Mulligan who
ensures that the facilities and equipment is all in place for every
training session and match. It has been decided that the club AGM will
take place early in the new
year. As always, we welcome new members and encourage people to take
part in the running of the club by taking up a position as an elected
officer or being part of executive committe. Nomination papers will be
made available well in advance of the meeting.
