The Kildysart/Coolmeen U16 team had an impressive win in the Division 2 Quarter Final on Monday last beating Clarecastle by 11 points to 1 goal.  Clarecastle had the only score of the first half with a goal 14 minutes in and then were kept off the scoreboard for the remainder of the game.  Kildysart/Coolmeen made better use of the strong breeze and had the sides level within 3 minutes of the restart.  Seven points in total for Cian Murphy plus 2 from Alan Normoyle and 1 each from Barry Crehan and Sean Wallace plus some very good defense sealed amalgamation victory.

Simultaneously, the U12 Kildysart boys played against Coolmeen and won out by score-line of 02. 11 to 02. 05.  Thus the undefeated record from 2011 is still alive.  There were at least 5 sets of brothers & 1 set brother/sister playing for both team between the 2 matches U12 & U16. (Crehan, Cusack, McMahon, Ginnane, Carrig & Normoyle)

The Kildysart Ladies finished their league campaign winning no matches but they take heart from their performances and are looking forward to the Championship.
