The senior championship kicked off with a fine win over Abbeylara on Friday last in Maguire Park. The lads scored an impressive 1-16 against Abbeylara’s 1-08 to win by a comfortable 8 point margin. Team v. Abbeylara: M. Kiernan, P. Murtagh, C. Brady, M. Mulligan, N. Farrell, D. Reilly, F. Kavanagh, J.P. Reilly, E. Farrell, D. Mulligan, D. Farrell, N. Brady, M. Kilbride, P. McKeon, B. McKeon. Subs: S. McKeon and C. Kiernan. The lads will now face Dromard in the next round on Thursday 2nd August in Monaduff at 8pm.

There was no winner of the July 22nd lotto draw. The numbers drawn were: 1, 5, 16 and 29.
