News

Colmcille GFC notes

November 8, 2018

The club will release the first issue of a quarterly newsletter in the near future. The news letter will be distributed to each household in the parish. The aim of this project is to keep everyone in the area informed on news and events from the senior, minor and ladies clubs.

It is also hoped that the newsletter will encourage involvement in club activities within the parish.

Included with the first issue will be 50 weekly lotto envelopes and a yearly lotto card. The lotto is a vital source of income for the club as funding from other sources is much more limited. Envelops may be filled in every week or the lotto card can be used for six or twelve months. The cost of the lotto card is €100 for twelve months or €50 for six months. Yearly lotto entrants are also included for an additional monthly draw for €100. Completed envelops and yearly cards can be dropped into the collection points in the local shops and pubs.  Alternatively, contact anyone from the contact section of the news letter.

It is hoped that this will give the wider parish community greater access to the club lotto, therefore, helping raise vital funds for the club’s continued development and affording everyone the opportunity to be entered into the draw every week. Anyone who wishes not to take part can also return the unused envelops and card to the collection points. We wish to thank you in advance for your support and hope that you find the newsletter of interest.
