The club would like to thank everyone for the huge response to the newsletter and distribution of lotto envelops. The plan has been a huge success. A special word of thanks to all those who have bought lotto envelops and yearly tickets. We would like to thank all those involved in compiling and distributing the newsletter and envelops. A reminder that completed envelops can be left in the collection points in local shops and pubs. Also a reminder that anyone interested in purchasing a yearly lotto ticket can contact any executive member.

As part of Lá na gClub we will be running a table quiz with each town land in the parish will be competing against each other. More details of the Lá na gClub events will be available later.

Congratulations to our Division 1 team who continued their excellent from with two more wins in the last week. Firstly we recorded a 5 point victory over Mostrim on Tuesday last 13th April, winning on a score line of 1-11 to 0-9. We then followed up this victory with a fine display and win over Ballymahon on Saturday 17th April (3-15 to 1-8).

The Division 5A game against Fr. Manning Gaels has been rescheduled to Friday 23rd April in Fr. Mc Gee Park.

The Division 1 team will be in action against Carrickedmond in Moran Park at 7pm next Saturday 24th April.  The Division 5A team will be in action against St. Mary’s on Sunday 25th April. Time and venue to be decided.

There was no winner of the April 11th Lotto Draw (2, 8, 17, 18) of €3500. Lucky Dip winners were Mick Casey, Newtownforbes, Violet Mc Gauran, Cornadrung, Pat Mc Kenna, Sonnagh, Matty Kiernan, Crott.

Next week’s lotto draw (25th April) takes place in the Dolan’s and team 3 are on duty:  Terry Gunshinan, Matt & Bernie Mc Gauran, Marie Keenan, Angela Hudson.
