Intermediate:

Training continues this week on Tuesday and Friday at 8pm sharp. The first game of the season is a Benson Cup fixture away to St. Molaise Gaels on Sunday next February 15th at 12 noon.

Medal Presentation:

A Presentation for last year’s victorious U-14 team will take place on Saturday February 21st in St. Nathy’s Hall at 8.45pm. Eastern Harps legend and current Sligo Senior team selector, Paul Taylor will present the medals to the players on the night.

All are welcome and we hope for a good turn out for this panel of players that provided such entertainment last year by winning the League division two title and narrowly loosing out in a pulsating championship final.

Lotto Draw:

The first Lotto Members draw for 2009 will take place on the night of the underage presentation on February 21st. It is imperative that any outstanding tickets are returned before this to avoid missing the first draw. Thank you for your support.

Minor:

The minor match against Enniscrone last weekend fell victim to the meteorological conditions. The next fixture is an away game versus neighbours Tubbercurry on Sunday next February 15th at 11am.

Pitch Maintenance:

Some essential repair work was carried out recently on the playing surface
of the main playing pitch at Nace O’Dowd Park. The club wishes to notify all
that the main pitch is strictly out of bounds until further notice. This is critical
to the success of the resodding work and is in the interest of all who use the
facility. Thank you for your cooperation.

Sympathy:

The club wishes to extent sympathy to the Johnston Family, Cloondrihara Lavagh on the recent death of Kathleen Johnston. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Intermediate Championship Draw:

Our Intermediate team were drawn in a pool along with Cloonacool and St. Pats in the recent draw. The championship is set to take place towards the end of July.
