Coolaney/Mullinabreena GAA Club

The U.20 team lost to St. John’s in round 2 of the championship on Sunday last, the final score was 3-7 to 1-7.

Our U-14 team, management & parents had a very enjoyable day out in Croke Park last Saturday for the international rules game between Ireland & Australia. While there, they were presented with their league & championship medals that were won throughout the year. Dublin star, Kevin McManamon was on hand to present the medals. Thank you to all who helped out in orgainising this successful event.

Thank you to everyone who supported the club table quiz last Frday night in the Knock na Shee Inn.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of our clubs Junior championship title. A function will take place in Cawley’s Hotel, Tubbercurry on Saturday 23rd November to honour the players and officials of that team. More details later.

There is a open Mic talent night , a Conway –McGowan production on Saturday 2nd November in the Mountain Inn , Coolaney at 9pm sharp, In aid of ALZHEIMER’S SOCIETY & CYSTIC FIBROSIS. A great line up of talent is in store so we hope you can come along, to what promises to be a fabulous night of entertainment.

The club would like to extend sympathy to the Coleman family, Carniara, the Gilmartin family, Rinbane and the Callaghan Family, Coolaney on recent bereavements. Ar Dheis De Go Raibh Siad.

The club AGM has been fixed for the 24th November in Coolaney Community Centre.
