Coolaney/Mullinabreena GAA PRO Notes

We are currently undertaking the process of drawing up a five year strategic club plan (2013 – 2018).Central to this is the planning workshop event. It will take place in St. Nathy’s Hall on Friday May 3rd at 8pm. This open event invites all members and interested parties to come along and have their say and play their part in building the plan. The forum will be dealing with the five main structures of running a club namely: Administration, Coaching, Finance, Development and Communications/PR. We appeal for a positive response. It’s your chance – Have your say!

The senior team continue their league campaign this Sunday in Keash against Eastern Harps, throw in at 3pm.

The Minor team were defeated narrowly by Easkey in the league on a scoreline of 4- 10 to 5-9, they play St.Patricks in Dromard on Thursday 24th April at 7pm.

U.8 and U.10 coaching continues in the park every Saturday at 10am, new players, boys and girls are always welcome.

Training For the U.12 panel takes place every Monday evening at 7pm sharp in Nace O Dowd Park.

The U.16 team drew with Castleconnor 1-10 to 3-4, they play Drumcliffe / Rossespoint on Monday 29th April at 7pm in Nace O Dowd park.

The U.14 team play Castleconnor on Friday 26th April at 7pm in St.Brendans GAA park.

The January lotto draw took place recently, the numbers were 1, 4,11 & 16 there was no winner and one match 3 winner, David Gormally, Castleknock, Dublin 15.

Congratulations to former club player Paul Marren on his engagement recently. Paul is currently down under in Australia.

Bon voyage to former club player, Sean Walsh who has currently taken up a new job in Canada. The club wish him well.

The club extend sympathy to the Sexton family, Killoran on the death Joseph Sexton, Carlow. Ar Dheis De Go Raibh Siad.
