Intermediate:

Preparations continue for the intermediate semi final as we take on Geevagh next Saturday Sept 12th in Markievicz Park at 4pm. Please go along and support the team.

1984 Team Re-Union:

Planning is now at an advanced stage for the upcoming dinner dance to mark the silver jubilee of the club’s junior double winning side of 1984. The presentation night will take place on Sunday, October 25th in the Clarion Hotel Sligo. There has been a great response to date with many already committed to travelling long distances for the event. Tickets will be available shortly and bookings can be made through any committee member. All are welcome to what promises to be a great celebration.

Old Photos:

We are appealing for people to forward on any old club photos to allow us to update our club history. Photos from 1984 are especially welcome. They will be copied and returned.

Minor:

Our minor side are due to play St. Pats this week in their second group game of the B championship. The match is fixed for Wednesday Sept 9th in Dromard.

U-13:

Our U-13 team had a good win last week against Drumcliffe on a score line of 3.18 to 6.03. Well done to all involved.

All Ireland Tickets:

The draw for the all-Ireland football final tickets will take place next week. Only fully paid up club members are entitled to enter the draw. Please forward your name to club secretary Leo Coleman by Monday Sept 14 at the latest. David Coleman and Maria Lee were the two winners of the hurling tickets for last Sunday’s final.

Newsletter:

Our latest club newsletter was distributed after masses in both parishes last weekend. Some copies are still available form local stores and shops and will also be available on our club website shortly.
