Intermediate:

Preparations continue for the Intermediate championship with our first fixture of the campaign against St. Pats fixed for the weekend of August 8/9th. St. Pats defeated Cloonacool by a point in the opening group game on Sunday last in a very keenly contested encounter.

U-16:

Our U-16 team have qualified for the A2 championship final fixed for Saturday August 8th. Coolera/Strandhill will provide the opposition after they defeated Calry last week. Keep this date in your diary and let’s hope that all club supporters get behind this team in the final.

Sympathy:

The club wishes to extend sympathy to the McCarrick family, Threenta, Coolaney on the death of Patrick last week. Pat was a much valued club member and a brother of Roger who was on the Club’s 1958 senior championship winning team. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

Club History:

This year marks the 125th anniversary of the GAA nationally but also marks the 120th anniversary of the foundation of our club. We continue to update the club’s history and appeal to anyone with old photos or any club memorabilia to forward them on so that we can continue to sketch a record of the club’s proud past. Please forward to Ollie Lee or David Hosey. Everything will be copied and returned. Check our club history and gallery on www.coolaneymullinabreena.com for our records to date.

Club Newsletter:

Our summer edition club newsletter is soon for publication and anyone with any items for inclusion can forward them on to ollielee@hotmail.com.

St. Nathys:

Congratulations to the St. Nathy’s girls U-12 team who recently captured a county title. Well done to all involved.
