Intermediate:

Coolaney/Mullinabreena secured another two league points against neighbours Cloonacool last Monday June 1st at a scorching Nace O’Dowd Park. The mercury level peaked at a scintilating 26 degrees Celsius leaving conditions difficult for both sides. Nonetheless, the teams produced a decent affair with the home side winning out deservedly after a stern test from a good Cloonacool team. The sides meet again in two weeks time in the league and also later in August in the Championship. Final score: C/M 1.08 Cloonacool 0.6.                                                                             Team: F Brennan, S Walsh, B Kivlehan, A Walsh, C Connolly, S Marren, J McGowan, R Gallagher(1.01), P McHugh, M Conlon, D Doherty(0.1), T Sexton, S O’Brien(0.2), O Lee, K Finan(0.4). Subs: B Coleman for M Conlon, A Duggan for O Lee, W Kivlehan, A McGowan, B Finnegan, J Connolly, S Gorman, C Gorman, M Healy. We are fixed to play Eastern Harps on Friday June 12th at 8pm in Keash.

U-14:

Our U-14 side defeated Coolera/Strandhill last Friday evening at Nace O’Dowd Park in the A Championship quarter final. The score finished 3.16 to 2.05. The team now meet St. Marys in the semi final fixed for Friday June 19th at 7 pm in Nace O’Dowd Park. This represents great progress for the club to be performing at the highest level in the county.
