Sligo Board Draw:

 

 

The Sligo County Board are currently running a largefundraising draw for the county centre of excellence. Every club including ourown is required to return a specified amout of tickets.

Due to our own current, significant club fundraisingefforts, we are under no circumstances expecting or approaching club members topurchase said tickets. However, any club members who are interested insupporting the draw are requested to purchase tickets from our club executive.These will be credited to our club and go towards our return obligation.

Paidi O’Se Legend Night:

 

 

An EveningWith GAA Legends Featuring Páidí O’Sé. A unique night of Music, Song, Dance andGAA nostalgia will be held in Killoran’s Traditional Lounge Tubbercurry onThursday Night next 26th of July at 9pm. Special Guests on the Night will beKerry GAA Legend, Páidí O’Sé, who will recall many of his famous clashes overthe years including that with the Sligo team Connacht Champions of 1975. Alsothere will be members of that Connacht Championship winning Sligo Team of 1975,as well as the 1968 Sligo Minor Team, Connacht Champions and All IrelandFinalists of that year.

There will be music, craic and plenty of Annie Killoran’s renowned Boxty, aswell as great GAA Memories with Páidí and the Sligo Legends. There will also bea monster raffle draw held on the night for signed GAA Jerseys, including Sligo1975 jersey, current and 2007 Connacht Championship winning Sligo team jersey,Kerry jersey, and a Dublin jersey signed by themembers of Dublin’s2011 All Ireland winning side.

The event is being organised by former Sligoand Connacht Championship winning full back, John Brennan, for hisCoolaney/Mullinabreena Club Hero 2012 Campaign. 15% of all proceeds raised inthe Club Hero 2012 will go to Barnardo’s National Childrens Charity. Admissionis €10, and a wonderful night for all lovers of GAA, Irish music and craic isassured!

 

 

 

Club Lotto:

 

The numbersdrawn in the recent club lotto draw were 6, 15, 32 and 35. There was no jackpotwinner. Congrats to Walter & Annie Mai Kivlehan and Fr. Paddy Kilcoyne whoboth match three to win €100 each. The jackpot now stands at €5900.

 

 

Motorbike Run:

 

The Club Hero Motorbike poker run takes place at the Knocknashee Inn LavaghCo Sligo on Sun 5th Aug. Sign in is 12.30pm with a depart time of 2pm sharp. Admis 15euro with food served. Minor:

 

Our minor team play away to Castleconnor in the A2championship on Thursday July 26th at 7pm.

 

U-16:

 

Our U-16 side lost out to Curry last weekend. They playaway to Owenmore Gaels on Monday July 30th at 7pm.

 

U-14:

 

Our U-14 team play at home to Drumcliffe in the Bchampionship on Friday July 27th at 7pm.

 

 

U-12:
