Club Placed 3^rd in Ireland:

The club was recently informed that we’ve been placed third in the country of all the GAA clubs registered with Vodafone Ireland’s give back partnership scheme. This is a remarkable achievement for a rural club like ours and we pay tribute to all club members and supporters who have registered to date. The scheme provides that all Vodafone customers top-up or bill pay can have 5% (1 euro in 20) of their top-up or bill donated to their local GAA club, at no cost to them. Thanks again to all who have registered for this valuable club fundraiser.

Club AGM Refixed:

The Coolaney/Mullinabreena Club AGM has been fixed for Saturday, January 23^rd in St.Nathy’s Hall at 6pm.(Note: Postponed from Jan 9^th due to weather). We encourage all players and club members to attend as we seek increased involvement from our members in the running of our club. We continue to encourage anyone who wishes to become involved at an administration or coaching level to come forward. Contact club secretary Leo Coleman before this date with any nominations for positions.

Membership Lotto:

Once again we appeal to all club members to renew their Lotto membership for the New Year. Membership is Eur100 for the year and this includes entry into the monthly lotto draws plus the Christmas bonus draw. The current jackpot stands at Eur8400 and monthly prizes of Eur200 are also drawn. This is the club’s principal fundraiser for the year and we appeal to all club supporters to sign up by contacting any club member or on the club website.

Medal Presentation Postponed:

The medal presentation which was due to take place on Wednesday December 30^th had to be postponed because of the dangerous road conditions at present. It will be held at a later date.
