Cahill Cup
The Seniors got theiryear off to a winning start with a victory over Boherlahan Dualla in Boherlahanin the preliminary round of the Cahill Cup by a score of 4-15 to 0-13. Goalsfrom David Butler, David Collins,James Woodlock and Matthew Ryan ensured victory in conjunction with some welltaken points from Paul Collins,David Collins, Johnny Ryan and KevinButler. They now play Loughmore in the next round.

The Seniors starttheir county hurling league campaign next Saturday when they face ThurlesSarsfields in the outside field of Semple Stadium at 3pm.
Intermediate League
The Intermediatesstart their county hurling league with an away fixture against Newportin Newport onSunday at 3.30pm.
Under 21 Football
Our Under 21’s qualifiedfor the Mid under 21 football final after a comprehensive victory overBoherlahan Dualla in Drombane on Saturday last on a score of 2-14 to 1-4. Theynow face Gortnahoe Glengoole in the final.
Under 21 hurling
Our Under 21’s playthe opening round of the under 21 hurling championship against ThurlesSarsfields in Templemore on Sunday @ 12noon. Your support would be gratefullyappreciated.
Membership
With 2 teams in actionthis weekend it is very important that all players pay their membership andinsurance before they line out on the field. Adult Players €50, Students €30,Non-playing adults €30, Minors & Juveniles €10. Membership can be given toTherese Fahey, Brian Costello, Pat Egan or Trevor Hassett.
Juvenile Card Game
The Juvenile Clubwould like to thank all those who supported the card game on Wednesday last. Itwas a great success and thanks also to all those who provided sandwiches andcakes and helped with the catering. A good night was had by all with lots ofgreat prizes.
Mid Peil na nOg
Pride of place thisweek goes to our under 14 footballers who created history by winning the MidPeil na nOg by beating Moycarkey Borris in the semi final and then defeating JKBrackens in the final. This is the first time that the club has ever won thiscompetition and it now places them in the county semi final in the comingweeks. Well done to all the management team and the players who performedadmirably in both matches and played with skills years above their age.
They are due to playin the Mid Feile competition on Saturday 12th with time and venue tobe confirmed.
U6’s, U8’s & U10’s
There will be trainingfor under 6’s, under 8’s & under 10’s on Saturday morning in the Ragg at10.30. New players are always welcome.
