Under21
Our under 21’s were defeated by a verystrong Thurles Sarsfields team in the mid semi final on Sunday last inTemplemore by a score line of 2-21 to 0-11. Our lads never really got a stronghold of the game and were beaten comprehensively in the end. We thank JimKinane, Joe Cahill, Kevin Nolan, Paul Collinsand Jim Mullen for their time and effort throughout the year in preparing theteam for each game.
 
Matchtickets
Anyone who owes any money for Tipperary match tickets,could they please return as soon as possible to Pat Egan as these monies arenow outstanding and over due.

Under14 Shield
Hard luck to the under 14 team and theirmentors on losing to Moycarkey in the shield final on Sunday. It was a veryclosely contested match and the boys fought hard but unfortunately came out onthe wrong side of the scoreboard. This team has had a good year winning afootball mid and county final. Well done to all the lads for their effort allyear.
 
PJJones Memorial Tournament
Well done to our under 10’s who took partin the PJ Jones tournament on Sunday morning last in Garda College fieldTemplemore. They had matches against JK Brackens, Roscrea and eventual winnersMoycarkey Borris. Well done to all the players as they played with great heartand spirit whilst representing the club.
 
Under10 Paddy Carey Cup
The under 10 Paddy Carey cup for 2010 willtake place in The Ragg Field on Saturday 16th October starting at 10:30amsharp. Borrisoleigh, Toomevara and Thurles Gaels have been invited to takepart. We would humbly appreciate any of the parents/supporters to provide somesandwiches cakes or buns on the day.
 
JuvenileClub Collection
The Juvenile Club are holding a Church GateCollection on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th October in Drom and The Ragg. Wewould urge everyone to contribute as it is very important to keep funds comingin for the successful running of the club. We have great players from under 6right up to minor level and they need to be looked after as much as possibleto help them develop their skills. Anyone available to stand at thecollection tables at any of the Masses please give their names by text toNiamh Butler 0871241716.
 
ClubGear
We will also be hoping to have Club Gear(Tracksuits, Hoodies, Jackets, Hats) for sale on Saturday morning 16thOctober from 10 am to 1pm in the The Ragg dressing rooms. Limited amount ofsocks and togs are available. Jerseyswill not be available at this time. A text will go out later in the week toconfirm this.
 
 
 
 
Refereescourse
The county board are running a recruitmentdrive to find new referees within the county. The course shall be run over 4nights in November. It is very important that this course is held this year asit was not held last year due to lack of interest. This course willsubsequently not be held for 2 years after this year. Any one interested inbecoming a referee contact Pat Egan for further details.
 
CeistGAA le Hector
Well done to our team of Brian Boyle, DavidCollins and Fiona McGrath whorepresented the club on the new GAA quiz programme on TG4. They defeated LucanSarsfields in the opening round to qualify for the quarter final. This openinground shall be screened on TG4 in the coming weeks. We wish them best of luckin the next round.
