All Ireland Camogie Semi Final
Next weekend sees our camogie team face Killimor of Galway in the All Ireland Senior Camogie semi final. The game takes place in Nenagh at 2pm on Sunday. We would encourage all club members to come and support the girls as the bid to reach the All Ireland final.
Annual Club Social
The annual club social & medal presentation shall is scheduled for Saturday 18thFebruary in Younge’s The Ragg. Music on the night shall be by Ebony followed by a DJ. Tickets shall cost €25 and are available from Austin Broderick, Trevor Hassett or Pat Egan from Wednesday evening. It is hoped to have a night in both the Ragg and Drom to sell the tickets.
 
Championship Draws 2012
The championship draws were made last week which have seen the seniors hurlers drawn in a group with Thurles Sarsfields, Moycarkey Borris and Loughmore Casteliney. The Under 21’s will start their Football campaign against Moycarkey Borris in the Ragg on 12th February while they shall face Thurles Sarsfields in the hurling in March.
 
Membership
Membership rates as the same as last year and is now been accepted by any club officer or to the club registrar Lorcan Looby. Player €50, Non Player €30, Student Player €30, OAP & non playing student €20 and juveniles €10.
 
Munster Scor na nOg
Well done to Ashley Shanahan who competed in the Munster final of Scor na nOg which took place in Cappoquin on Sunday last. Unfortunately Ashley did not progress to the All Ireland final but she represented the club and county with a fantastic performance.
 
Juvenile AGM
The juvenile club’s AGM shall take place on Wednesday 8th February @ 8pm in the clubhouse in the Ragg.
