Senior Hurling
Oursenior hurlers completed their group stage of the county league with a victoryover Loughmore Castleiney on Wednesday night by 1-16 to 1-11. They now qualifyfor the semi final which will be in a few weeks time. The draw for the midsenior hurling semi final has pitted us against JK Brackens which will takeplace in Templetuohy on Sunday evening at 7.30pm. Training continues at theusual time.
Intermediate Hurling
OurIntermediates were defeated by Gortnahoe Glengoole on Saturday evening last by2-9 to 1-8.
Under 14
Feile na nGael 2011
The Juvenile Club would like tothank everyone for their generosity towards the Church gatecollection at the weekend. All proceeds are much needed to fund our under 14team who are travelling to Galway on Friday24th of June to partake in this years Feile na nGael competition. There will bea presentation of gear in The Ragg dressing rooms on Wednesday night wherepictures will be taken with our Sponsors and tea and sandwiches will be served.All are welcome.
The club has not been in this competition since1995 and would urge everyone to support the team in Galwayat the weekend. Their fixtures are as follows:
Friday 24th vs Castlegar at the CastlegarSports Complex at 3:00pm and the parade will take place in Loughrea at 6:30pm.
Saturday 25th vs Turloughmore in Turloughmore at11:00am
Saturday 25th vs Taghmon/Camross in Turloughmore at1:15pm
Hopefully we will qualify for the Semi-Final whichis fixed for 5:30pm in Athenry and all going well the Divisional 1 final isfixed for 3:00pm on Sunday 26th in Pearse Stadium Galway.
 
Under 12
The under12s next round of their hurling campaign is 9th July at 11:00am in The Raggfield.
 
Under 16
The under16s play their Football County Semi-Final on Tuesday 28th June againstToomevara. Time and venue to be fixed.
 
Tipperary v Clare
Best of luck to Shane Hassett who is lining out forthe county minors against Clare in Semple Stadium on Friday night in theMunster Semi final. Well done to Seamus Callanan and James Woodlock on theirvictory over Clare on Sunday which now puts them in a Munster Final against Waterford.
 
Church Gate Collection
Thejuvenile club held a church gate collection before all masses last weekend inDrom and the Ragg. We would like to thank everyone for their contributions.
Schools County finals
Lastweek saw the schools of the parish win 3 county finals at the Cumman namBunscoil finals which were held in Semple Stadium on Tuesday and Wednesday.Drom N.S camogie team won the Under 13 Roinn C final on Tuesday while onWednesday their Boys under 13 team won the Under 13 Roinn E final. Earlier thatday Inch NSwon the Under 13 Roinn E camogie final. Well done to all the teams and their teachersfor a fantastic achievement. Special word of thanks must go to school coachingofficer Matthew McGrath who is doing fantastic work with the schools everyweek.
Under 8
ThisSaturday there will be an under 8 blitz in Boherlahan starting at 10.15am
Under 6 & 10
Therewill be under 6 and under 10 training in the Ragg at 10.30am
