Senior
Well done to oursenior hurlers who put in a great performance to defeat Thurles Sarsfields inthe second round of the Mid Championship by 1-17 to 2-9.They now play HolycrossBallycahill in the last group game on Saturday week 7th May. Training continues at usual times asper club text.
 
Intermediate League
The intermediatescontinue their league campaign against Clonakenny in the Ragg at 6pm onSaturday next. The club would like to thank Ballinahinch for a good challengelast weekend.
 
Membership
Membership is now OVERDUEfor ALL players and non players. Adult Players €50, Students €30, Non-playingadults €30, Minors & Juveniles €10. Membership can be given to ThereseFahey, Brian Costello, Pat Egan or Trevor Hassett.
 
Monthly committee meeting
The monthly committeemeeting for May shall take place on Wednesday 3rd may in the clubhouse. It is important that ALL committee members and team managers attend.
 
Junior League:
Our junior B’sdefeated Upperchurch Drombane in the Ragg on Monday last by 4-13 to 2-10.Training continues for Junior A & B team in the Ragg on Wednesday eveningat 7pm sharp. The junior A’s play Boherlahan Dualla next weekend. See Midfixtures for details.
 
Tipp minors:
Best of luck to ShaneHassett and the Tipperary minor squad as theyface Waterford in the opening round of the Munster championship onWednesday at 7.15 in Walsh Park Waterford.
 
Speedy Recovery:
The club would like towish Tommy O’ Halloran a speedy recovery following a bad injury in a recentfootball match.
 
U6’s,U8’s & U10’s
This Saturday there will be training for Under6’s & Under 10’s at 10.30am in the Ragg. U8 blitz in Clonakenny at 10.15sharp on Saturday.
 
Under14’s
Our under 14 footballers contested theCounty semi final of the Peil na nOg on Monday last against Nenagh Eire Og.They started strongly and were leading 0-7 to 0-1 at half time. They continuedtheir dominance in the second half and emerged as comfortable winners by 4-10to 2-2. They then played a strong Moyle Rovers team in the final and despitebeen under pressure in the opening stages every player gave it their all andwent in level at the break 1-4 apiece. However Moyle Rovers picked off scoresin the second half and emerged as winners. Well done to all of the panel asthey gave it their all and can be proud of their efforts as they representedthe club with pride. They now turn their attentions to the Feile na nGaelcounty semi final which will take place in the coming weeks.
 
Under14 Long Puck
Congrats to Thomas Nolan who won the countyUnder 14 Long Puck final which was held in between the Peil Semi finals andfinal in Templetuohy on Monday last.
