Late first half goals crucial as Gilroy’s men defeat Royals

DUBLIN 2-13 MEATH 1-13

Goals in first half injury time from Bernard Brogan and Denis Bastick ultimately paved the way for Dublin’s Leinster SFC final victory over Meath in Croke Park on Sunday.
The Dubs had mixed the good with the poor in the opening half and the Royals looked to be building momentum with half-time approaching before Pat Gilroy’s men hit them with two heavy bodyblows in the 36th and 37th minutes.
