Dundalk Gaels 1.12 St.Brides 0.8

A first league win of the seeson in a comprehensive style against a disapponting Brides team sets us up nicely for the first round of the championship next Sunday against the Pats.

Gaels started without several regulars,Brides playing with the assistance of a strong breeze went into a two point lead fress from Pierce Murphy and Arron Hoey.Gaels responded with goal from wing forward Errol Boyle and points from Anthony McSorley put the Gaels in al lead that they were to hold for the remainder of the game. Arron Hoey added an additional five points in the first half .Further points from Gaels Sean McCann 3,Anthony McSorley 1,Sean Fee 1 and Eanna McArdle 1 and a further point from Brides Stephen Hillard left the half time score Gaels 1.07 Brides 0.8 points.

Gaels held Brides scorless in the second half and could have scored a lot more but for some wayward shooting,points from eanna, Sean McCann 2 Sean Fee 1 and Andrew Coleman1 left the final score Gaels 1.12 Brides 0.8.

Jamie Faulkner.Sean Fee and Sean McCann played excellent others to play well were Stephen Faullkner Aidan Delaney and Sean Martin.

Congratulations must go to Peter Fee for the tremedous work that he is doing with the two Junior teams. Peter has taken over the running of both teams and they have won all of their last three game each. This is great work by Peter and any support he can be given would be appreciated.
