Dundalkfc.com has been announced as the winner of the 2011 Club Website of the Year Award by the Soccer Writers’ Association of Ireland (SWAI).
Dundalkfc.com has been nominated every year since 2006 and had previously won the award in 2007, 2008 and 2009. This year Dundalk FC pipped Shamrock Rovers’ and Cork City’s websites to win the award for the fourth time.
The DFC Trust would like to thank Keith Wallace, who also received a Press Officer of the Year nomination, for his excellent work throughout the year. Keith is pictured above with Daniel McDonnell, President of the SWAI, receiving the award.
After six months of work, the DFC Trust relaunched the website last February after a redesign by Ruth Hardy and Gareth Preston. Many thanks to Ruth and Gareth for giving their time to the website and the new online shop.
