At the East Cork Board meeting on last Wednesday night the 2007 Junior Championship draws were made. For this season we decided to regrade to Junior B hurling from Junior A for our second team. They were drawn against Lisgoold which is about the toughest possible draw which we could get. There are just three B grade ‘only’ teams in East Cork now, St Itas, Ballinacurra and Lisgoold with the latter being far the strongest of the three. There is no ‘back-door’ in this championship so we will have to put in a huge effort for this game. In Junior A football we will face Glanmire. The U-21 and Minor draws are not yet made.
