Edenderry GAA is giving its full support to the Monster Edenderry Clean up next Saturday 24th of April. This event is being organised by the Edenderry & District Women in Business (EDWIB) and Edenderry Tidy Towns. The plan is to meet at the Town Hall at 10am and break into groups and target litter blackspots.
Litter is a major problem in our Town and we as a club should do or best to help out. We hope to mobilise as many members of the club to help out and pick litter for a few hours. The club benefits greatly from support of our local businesses and community when it comes to fundraising and this is an opportunity to return the many favours and say thanks.
Committee members will be in touch later in the week to request your attendance, we hope will give this serious consideration and offer at least an hour of your time on Saturday morning to help out on behalf of your club.
