Edenderry visit Kilkenny

November 8, 2018

On Wednesday evening last Edenderry underage hurlers made the trip to Kilkenny City to take on O’Loughlin Gaels in four challenge games between the ages of U6 and U12.

After some fantastic hurling in all the games, Edenderry emerged victorious in one game, while the O’Loughlin Gaels won the other three.

Edenderry GAA would like to thank O’Loughlin Gaels for their great hospitality on the day.

The Edenderry lads then made the short walk across the road to Nowlan Park to watch Brian Cody put All-Ireland Champions Kilkenny through their paces in a tough training session before their upcoming All-Ireland Semi-Final clash with Cork.

After training the manager Brian Cody and players such as Henry Shefflin, Tommy Walsh, JJ Delaney, Noel Hickey, Aiden Fogerty, and all-time great Eddie Keher stayed around to sign autographs and pose for photographs for the delighted youngsters, for which Edenderry GAA are very thankful.

Edenderry GAA would also like to thank all the parents and families of the children who made the journey to Kilkenny.
