It is open to people aged 15-18 and will run from September to May 2016. Attendees will receive a Cert from NUI Galway on successfully completing the programme and for more information email stacey.cannon@gaa.ie or call Stacey on 01 8192387.

The U-14s game with St. Brigids B was postponed, they have no game this week.

The U-12s played their first game of the Summer League away to St. Michaels in Cootehall last Friday. Heading into the game without a few key players the team played with great vigour. Unfortunately they conceded four goals in quick succession at a vital time of the game but the players kept going until the final whistle. Although they were defeated it was a good team performance and the stand-out players were Evan Murray, Emily Gleeson, Sam and Jude O'Rourke and John Finnerty, who scored 1-5. On Monday they travelled to Loughglynn to take on Éire Óg. This was a very exciting game which we led by 2-1 to 0-5 at half time. There were scores galore in the second half and mid way in the half we held a 3-7 to 1-9 lead but the home side fought back well and when Declan Main hit the back of the net with seconds remaining it looked like an Elphin win was on the cards but it wasn't to be and the game ended 4-7 apiece. All the players gave their best in what was an intriguing game and the management were very proud of them. The stand-out players were Declan Main, Cian Beirne, Evan Murray, Emily Gleeson, Sam and Jude O'Rourke, John Finnerty and Evan Gunn.

The team is back in action this Saturday when they host St. Dominics at 12pm.

Our U-10's took part in a very enjoyable Go Games Blitz hosted by Shannon Gaels on Saturday, playing 3 games. The panel on the day was Charlotte & Victoria Geraghty, Cian & Daire Tiernan, Cian Nolan, Dylan Scott, Alex Kielty, Sam & Jude O'Rourke, John Anthony Quinn and Cameron Elliot. There will be no training for U-10s this Saturday. The U-8s travel to Loughglynn on Saturday for their next Go Games Blitz, parents are reminded that all players must wear a Mouthguard.

There was no winner of last weekend's Club Lotto Jackpot, numbers drawn 14, 18, 19 and 20. The Lucky Dip winners of €25 were Coman & Joanne Brady, Coman Neary, Una Killoran, Adrian & Deirdre Kielty.
