Congratulations to Luke Mollahan who was awarded a Connacht GAA Third Level Bursary at a ceremony on Saturday.

Scór

Commiserations to our Scór na nÓg Set Dancers who missed out on the Connacht title despite a great performance on Sunday.

County players

It was a mixed weekend for our players on the County Teams. The U21s were defeated by Longford and the Seniors defeated NUI Galway, with Shane Killoran scoring Roscommon’s goal.

Best of luck to John Collins who has begun training with the New York Senior team in preparation for the Connacht Championship following his recent move.

Condolences

The Club extends its sympathy to the Beirne, Feely and Reynolds families on their recent bereavements.

Meeting

The January Club Executive Meeting takes place tomorrow (Tuesday) at 8:30pm in the Clubrooms.

Elphin GAA Lotto

There was no winner of Saturday’s Club Lotto Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 1, 9, 14 and 17. The €25 winners were Martin Travers, Cloghermore; Johnny Maher & Michael Moran c/o Elphin Boxing Club; Kelly Marie Evans, Athlone; Genevieve Horan, Cloonroughan. The Jackpot now stands at €10,600 and this Saturday’s Draw will be held in The Central Bar. Entry is just €2 and envelopes are available in local shops or you can play now  here.
