ELPHIN GAA CLUB NOTES 19TH SEPTEMBER 2010

COUNTY SENIOR FINAL 2010:

    All roads on Sunday lead to Hyde Park Roscommon for the County Senior final between Elphin and St Brigid’s. Many thanks to everyone that has helped the club over the past weeks. There are simply too many to mention. To all that have given generously towards the training fund, to all that have put up signs, flags, and bunting, a huge thank you.
    Please don’t leave anyone behind on Sunday offer everyone a lift ,all support will matter next Sunday from the young to the old. Finally we wish Peter, his management team, and all the players the very very best for Sunday and remember the the club motto ‘Per Ardua surgo in spes’.

CLUB FUNDRAISERS:
There are a two fundraisers happening this week to help with the training fund. On Thursday there is a quiz night and it’s in John O`s Bar in Ealing London, starting at 9pm. Address for John Os bar is 13 Station Parade,Uxbridge Rd, Ealing Common W5 3LD.  All Elphin supporters living in London and beyond are invited to come along! On Friday night there is a quiz called Anticipation taking place in An Bothar Rua. It starts at 9pm. A great night`s fun is guaranteed .

The U8`s travelled to Dr.Hyde Park last Saturday to take part in the County blitz. Both teams played very well on the day. The following players took part; Danny Traynor, Cian Beirne, Emmett Keane, Alan Gormley, Rachel Gormley, Nessa Murray, Ben Gleeson, Dara Casserly Beirne, Diarmuid McCaffrey, Aaron Grant, Luke O`Shaughnessy, Gavin Murray, Rossa Brennan Kelly, Sean Brady, Lauren Shanagher and Robbie Lee. Thanks to all at Roscommon Coaching and Games Development for organizing this event.
