Elphin 2-5 Padraig Pearses 1-8
The Seniors played out a draw with Padraig Pearses in the League on Sunday. They face St Croans in the last group game of the Championship this Sunday at 1pm in Loughglynn (Note change) and your support would be appreciated for this big game.
Elphin-Ballinameen Underage Round-up
The Minors defeated Roscommon Gaels by 4-5 to 1-10. Their game against Oran was rescheduled to Monday evening and they won again; 2-16 to 0-9. They face St Faithleachs away on Thursday at 7:30pm.
The U16s received a walkover from Boyle. They host St Brigids on Saturday at 11:30am (Note time change).
The U14s defeated St Aidans by 1-14 to 3-5.
The U12 teams had a busy week. The Division Six Team defeated Western Gaels B by 1-11 to 1-1 on Monday. The Division Two Team defeated St Dominics A by 5-5 to 2-5 on Saturday afterwards later the Division Six Team were beaten by St Dominics B; 2-5 to 7-2. Unfortunately, as a number of players did not attend the Division Six game six players who had already played in the Division One game had to play again after a short rest. Parents are asked to contact the Management in advance if their child won’t be able to attend a game.
The U8s and U10s play in the County GoGames Blitz this Saturday in the Connacht GAA Centre, Bekan, Ballyhaunis. The teams will leave the Orchard at 8:45am and all children are to be in Bekan for 9:40am. A reminded that a mouth guard must be worn in order to be eligible to play.
Elphin GAA Lotto
There was no winner of Sunday’s Club Lotto Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 11, 12, 17 and 21. The Lucky Dip winners of €25 were Fergus Beirne, Camogue; Patsy Burke, Lahausk; The Fox Family, Edenaun and Olivia Kelly, Boyle. The Jackpot is now worth €8,500 and the Draw will take place in Timmys. Play now here
