November 8, 2018

There has been great interest in Tickets for our 125 Celebration Banquet, which takes place in the Landmark Hotel, Carrick on Shannon on Friday December 5th at 8pm. It's a night not to be missed and includes the launch the second volume of our Club History, the announcement of the Team of 35 years and live music from Slider. Special Guests on the night include Uachtaráin CLG Liam Ó Neill and Kerry Star Aidan O'Mahony. Tickets, priced at €35, are available from Coman Brady, Anne Rock, Caroline Beirne, Martin Travers, Niall Dockery, Paddy O'Connor, Morris Meats, The Central Bar and The Elphin Chop Shop. Those considering attending are asked to buy their tickets as soon as possible.

The “Team of 35 years” is being selected by former Club Officers and supporters will also have a chance to get involved by making their own selection. Specially marked envelopes are available in local shops and the supporters selection that most closely matches that of the judging panel will win a Christmas Hamper. Entry to this competition costs €2 or you can enter on-line at via the link on the right hand side of the page and receive three attempts for €5.

Congratulations to Sarah Keane (Solo Singer), Question Time and Set Dancing teams who have qualified for the Scór na nÓg County Final in the Dean Crowe Theatre, Athlone on Sunday December 14th. This is an all ticket event and tickets can be purchased on-line at www.deancrowetheatre.com or by calling the Box Office on 090 64 92129. Well done to all representatives that took part and thank you to all the parents who assisted in the running of the event and Seanie and Michael who had the Community Centre in great order for the event.

The last ABC/Nursey Coaching Session takes place in the Community Centre on Saturday morning at 10:30 and all those who have Elphin T-shirts are asked to wear them as a group photo will be taken.
