Elphin GAA CLUB NOTES 25th May 2015

Best of luck to the Seniors against Boyle in the Championship on Sunday at 3:30pm in Boyle. Your support would be appreciated. 

The Juniors remain unbeaten following their 1-11 to 0-6 win over Ballinameen in the League on Wednesday. 

The U-14s were defeated in the last game of the League and await details of the Championship draw. 

Well done to the U-12s on their 4-3 to 1-2 win over Éire Óg. It was the best performance by the team to date and “Man of the Match” John Finnerty scored 3-2. Emmet Keane was outstanding in goal, Captain Alan Gormley gave an inspired display and Sam O'Rourke, Danny Traynor and Cian Beirne all had great games

The U-10s have a busy week. On Wednesday they take part in the Shane Kelly Blitz in Strokestown, which throws in at 6:30pm and further details regarding transport will be sent via SMS. On Saturday they travel to St. Croans for this Saturday's Go Games Blitz. 

Thank you to Brendan Guckian and team from St. Marys Carrick on Shannon for hosting the U-10s last Wednesday, a great evening was had by all. 

Coaching continues for U-6s and U-8s on Saturday and players must be on the field at 10am. Parents are reminded that all children must wear a Gum Shield in order to play.

There was no winner of Saturday's Club Lotto Jackpot, numbers drawn 12, 20, 26 and 27. The lucky dip winners of €25 were Aoife Beirne, John Gildea, Vivian McDermott and Tom O'Dowd, Carrick on Shannon. The next Draw takes place in “Timmys” on May 30th and the jackpot will be €2,000. Click here to play
