ELPHIN GAA CLUB NOTES 2nd Nov 2015

November 8, 2018

Goals from Joseph Beirne, Aidan Murray and two from Shane Killoran gave the U21s a 4-8 to 0-9 win over St. Faithleachs in the B Championship Quarter-Final. Many of the players will be in action again next Sunday when the U20s face Kilbride in the C Championship Semi-Final at 12pm in The Orchard and your support would be appreciated.

The Minor Committee AGM will be held in the Clubrooms on Friday at 8:30pm. All Coaches, Parents and anyone with an interest in the development of underage players is asked to attend this review of the season gone by.

Unfortunately due to the unavailability of a number of players the U14s were unable to field against Tulsk in the Garda Cup. Thank you to the Coaches and players for their hard work during the year.

Thank you to Connacht GAA Coach and Roscommon star Cathal Cregg for taking a special coaching session with our U12 and U13 players on Saturday afternoon. An enjoyable day was had by all involved and it will inspire the players for the Parish League, which will round off their season over the coming Saturdays.

Members are advised the the Main Gate into The Orchard will be closed until this Friday due to the installation of a new Footpath either side of the entrance.

There was no winner of Saturday's Club Lotto Jackpot, the numbers drawn were 3, 6, 18, 22. The lucky dip winners of €25 were Shane Higgins, Raheen; Shay O'Brien, Windmill Park; Hazel Gunn, Tullyloyd; and Aidan Brady, Galway. This Saturday's Draw will be held in An Bothar Rua and the Jackpot will be €4,300. The annual Lotto Subscription is now due for renewal.
