Elphin GAA CLUB NOTES 6th JULY 2014

The Seniors defeated Allen Gaels by 1-13 to 2-7 in the Leo Kenny Cup last Wednesday and travel to Monivea-Abbey for Round 2 tomorrow (Wednesday) at 8pm. 

 
The Juniors enjoyed a 1-16 to 0-1 win over St. Croans B in the Championship on Sunday. 
 
Minor training continues this week and details will be sent to all panel members via SMS. 

The U-16s suffered a 6-6 to 3-10 defeat to St. Aidans in the Championship on Sunday evening. Best of luck to Aaron, Enda and the Roscommon U-16 against Offaly in Round 2 of the Fr. Manning Cup. 

 
The U-14s were defeated by St. Croans in the Championship last week and face St. Brigids B in Kiltoom on Thursday at 7:30pm. 
 
The U-12 are away to St. Michaels in the Summer League on Friday at 7:30pm.
 
The U-10s travel to Loughglynn on Saturday morning for the latest round of the Go Games Blitz Series. Parents are reminded that children must be there for 10:40am and all players must wear Mouthguards. 
 
Congratulations to all involved with Elphin Community Games on their great showing in the Connacht Finals at the weekend. 
 
There was no winner of last weekend's Club Lotto Jackpot. The numbers drawn were 3, 11, 19 and 28. The Lucky Dip winners of €25 were James Callery, Jimmy & Ann Caslin, Gerry D'Arcy and Annalise & Evan Murray. This weekend's Draw takes place in the Central Bar and the Jackpot is worth €2,600. A Kelloggs GAA Cúl Camp takes place in the Orchard next week, 13th to the 17th of July. The cost of attendance for one child is €55 with discounts for the second and subsequent child from a family and all attendees will receive a Kellogg’s GAA Cúl Camp Jersey, training top and backpack.
