ROSCOMMON GAA MEMBERS DRAW 2010:
Roscommon GAA has launched its Members Draw for 2010 with a total of €100,000 in prizes and a top prize of €50,000!!! Each club must sell a quota and Elphin GAA Club needs to sell 100 tickets. The Club will receive 20% of sales once the quota is reached and a higher percentage for all further sales.
Tickets are €100 and the draw takes place on Saturday 17th July. We hope you can support us by purchasing a ticket or by joining together with friends to buy one. SENIORS:
Our Seniors had a well deserved win against Western Gaels in the 1st round of the 2010 Roscommon County Championship on Sunday in Orchard Park.
Elphin were sluggish in the 1st half with Gaels dominating at midfield. The Gaels led 0-07 to 0-04 at half time.
However Elphin were transformed after the break and went on to dominate all over the field, outscoring their opponents 12 points to 2. Elphin`s 3 pointers coming from a Paddy O`Connor penalty and a well taken goal by Frankie Cregg. Elphin will now play Roscommon Gaels in their remaining group game.
