The Club wishes to thank all who participated in the race, the Elphin Mart Committee for the use of their premises; Gordon, Cathal and the Staff of An Bothar Rua for the post race refreshments and all who assisted in the set-up and stewarding of the Race. A special word of thanks must go to Una Killoran, who organised the programme, her assistants Sarah Glancy and Regina Scott, and the 30 plus participants who undertook the training for the past nine weeks. As well as benefiting the health of all those who took part, the event also benefited local charity SOS Elphin (Support to Overcome Suicide) as all the race entry fees will be donated to the cause.
