Borris in Ossory G.A.A Club Notes The replay of the intermediate final against Camross took place on O’ Moore Park on Thursday last. Unfortunatley it was not to be our day which saw Camross end the hard fought game with a four point lead. Our league campaign was not fruitless however and leaves us in the senior league for 2009. The intermediates can now move forward to championship and hope to do well in this campaign of which they reached the final last year. Their first match is against our near neighbours Kyle on August 17th . The Junior team was also out this week in O’ Moore park in which they met Rathdowney/Errill for the 4th round of the championship. Although Borris were on top most of the first half with scores from Tj Keenan, Rory Moore and a goal from Shane Kirwan , the second half saw the game end with a four point defecit . This is the Juniors first loss of the championship which has already saw them win and draw. They are to next meet Park/Ratheniska. Pleas keep an eye on the sports section for upcoming fixtures.
