Galway Corinthians Youth Report

Just the one game this week for the Corinthians Youth Academy with our U15’splaying Monivea away. The Under 15’s turned in an excellent display of rugbywinning 86-19. The platform for victory was an excellent display by the forwards,based on a very solid front-row of Paul Maher, John O’Connor and Evan Doyle,with the strong running and excellent link play of Michael O’Connell and PhelimMcGovern in the back-row. Phillip Murphy at out-half directed play superbly, withthe outstanding Ruairi Greene making bone crunching tackles, as well as makingground every time he received the ball.A great all round display with each member of the squad getting valuable game time,scoring 14 tries and 8 conversions: Ruairi Greene 3 tries, Michael.Connell 2 tries,Johanus O’Coistearbha 2 tries, Patrick Griffin 1 try, Paddy Faherty 1 try, Paul Maher1 try, Niall Mulloy 1 try, Phelim McGovern 1 try, 1 conversion, Daniel Trayers 1 try,1 conversion, Phillip Murphy 1 try, 6 conversions.
