Yes, we are starting an academy for girls on their own!

You may ask why?

We have found that even though girls join the Saturday morning academy in September very few are still around come Christmas and the reason they have given is that they do not like playing with the boys. It will be held on Friday evenings 18.30 to 19:30 and will cover Ladies football and camogie and will commence on April 24th after the Easter camp and Easter holidays. It will cater for girls born in 2002 and 2003. A communication leaflet will be handed out to the relevant age groups in our local schools week commencing April 20th.
