10 Girls Football -v- Templeogue Synge Street

Our under 10 girls gave a fantastic performance against a very strong Templeogue Synge Street team on Saturday afternoon winning out with a scoreline of  1-3 to 0-3. Our panel of 22 girls all played their part in this 3×15 minute game. Following on from a great draw in their previous match against Lucan Sarsfields the girls upped their game even more and in front of a large and vocal home support played exceptionally well in the warm conditions. The pivotal moment in the game was a goal taken with a touch of finesse by Ciara Donnelly. It is readily apparent that the training being put in by the girls week on week is paying dividends and this was underlined by a great team effort by our u9s on Thursday night in a friendly match -v- Cuala in which Emma Smyth scored a hat-trick. We now look forward to out last league game in a couple of weeks against Ballinteer St Johns and hopefully a good run in the Championship
