Hockey Roundup

With the season coming to an end, things are winding down on the hockey front.
Last weekend, at the Interprovincial tournaments, Connacht U21’s placed fourth, & Connacht Juniors placed second.
(They finished on equal points with Ulster, but had a lesser goal difference).  Well done all round.
 
Reminding all eligible players (those born in ’95, ’96, ’97 & before May ’98), that registration continues for the Olympic Hockey Talent ID Search.
The Screening day for Galway will be held in Dangan on Thurs evening, May 14th .  To register, you must log on to www.hockey.ie & click on ‘Talent ID’.
 
Also reminding all 1st & 2nd years of an upcoming 2-day hockey training camp being held in Dangan.
Dave Passmore (High Performance Director with Irish Hockey Association), along with several international players, are running the camp on Monday June 8th & Tues June 9th, 10am to 3pm.  The cost is E60 and places are limited!
