Congratulations to our 1sts who beat NUIG 3-1 in their first league match of the season on Sept 21st.Goals by Trish Garrett, Neasa McGettigan and Kate Hennessy secured the win.
A repeat performance on Sept 28th, saw the 1sts meet old rivals Galway HC, in a fast-paced game which kept the supporters on their toes. It was a first half goal by Alex Hunt that separated the sides in the end, with the 1sts making it 2 wins from 2.
Our 2nds faced Yeats and with Mary Healy (taking a little break from her rugby!), netting twice, with Ciara Meagher and Jean Brennan adding to the scoring.
Our 3rds secured a great win over Renmore 2nds, Amy Coogan getting a hat trick on her Greenfields debut with youngsters Eadaoin Kennedy, Sorcha O'Connor & Ciara Shaughnessy also finding the net.
