The Intermediates left themselves with too much to do after playing against a strong wind and going in behind by 1-8 to 0-4 at half-time. They never stopped trying, even after the Cocks went 7 pts ahead with a penalty on 50mins and we nearly snatched a draw with a late rally in which Con Murphy, Niall Humphries and Gavin Byrne kicked some great scores.
