Result: Ballyhea 1-14 Ballygarvan 1-8

Ballygarvan had a disappointing start to the intermediate hurling league, losing to Ballyhea in the first round. Ballygarvan had drawn level with 10 minutes gone in the second half, but Ballyhea’s goal late on, and O’ Sullivan’s accuracy with points, Ballygarvan were unable to build on it. Ballygarvan face Glen Rovers in round 2, scheduled for next Sunday. A time and date will be published here, as soon as it is confirmed.
