Intermediate team win in O'Mara Cup. Mayo Gaels 2-10 Shrule/Glencorrib 2-7

 

Our intermediate team got their O’Mara Cup campaign off to the perfect start with a win over Shrule/Glencorrib in Abbey Park on Sunday morning. Goals by Kevin Lynch and Adam Gallagher were the key scores. The Gaels lead 1-5 to 1-4 at halftime and maintained their good form in the second half to finish three point winners on a score line of 2-10 to 2-7. They are away to Claremorris in the second round of the O’Mara Cup next Sunday at 12pm.
