A very successful series of matches last weekend against Scotland saw Ireland U18’s beat Scotland U18’s in all three matches, scoring a total of nine goals, & conceeding only three.
Following on this, the squad has now been selected for the Home nations tournament this month. Four Connacht players are among the squad, which includes Greenfields members Dora Gorman & Katie Codyre.
The Home Nations tournament takes place in Garryduff Sports Centre, Cork, from July 17th to 19th. Ireland compete against England, Scotland & Wales for the title.
