Dundalk Gaels recorded a 3-9 to 0-9 victory over St Marys of Ardee on Tuesday night the 13th of April.

Dundalk Gaels led by 2-5 to 0-4 at the break after some good play and scoring.  The Marys were 3-2 up before a Paul Burke goal.  The Marys responded straight away with a point but another Gaels goal this time from Conall McArdle, a Paul Burke free and an excellent point from Tiernan O’Domhnaill after good play by the two McArdle brothers left the Gaels with 7 points to spare at the break.

The Marys started the 2nd half the brightest and scored two points before another Paul Burke point.

The Marys were never able to close the gap significantly and a Shane Dorr goal and a fine penalty save from Steohen McLoughlin meant the Gaels ran out comfortable winners on a scoreline of 3-9 to 0-9.

The Gaels now travel to face the Pats on Thursday night at 8pm.
