Junior B SEMI FINAL DRAWN

November 7, 2018

Ballycumber 3–8 Ferbane 2–11.
Ballycumber led this game for almost the entire 64 minutes but had to settle for a draw at the end. The effort put in on Tuesday night probably restricted some players but the never say die attitude of this group of players was evident again today. They took everything that a very experienced Ferbane team threw at them and were still battling at the end. Sean Hackett pointed a free and was followed by a great Simon Casey goal. Sean scored again from a free and Peter Dunne[2] , Paul Kelly added to it to leave the score at half time 1–4 to 0–7[4frees]. Simon got another goal after the restart but Ferbane replied immediately with a like score. Sean pointed another free after he was pulled down on his way to goal and Dermot Egan got on the scoresheet with a great catch and score. Mick Egan kicked in a high ball which deceived the goal keeper and dropped into the net and Sean finished the scoring for Ballycumber. FEerbane kept in touch with pointed frees and from play and in the dying seconds the snatched the equaliser. Team.
