Junior championships update

November 7, 2018

Junior football

St. Pat’s played their last game in the group stage of south championship last week against Ardfinnan. As both teams were already qualified for the semi-finals and the likely prospect of meeting again in the knockout stages  this game resembled more a shadow boxing match. Ardfinnan won the game on a scoreline of Ardfinnan 4-6 to St.Patrick’s 1-10. Missing a few players due to injury St.Pats won’t be too worried about this result.
Team; K Browne, W O’Brien, C Dunne, K Clancy, P Moroney (capt), D Meagher, E Needham, G Strappe, M Mullally, J Moroney, P Horan, M Slattery, M Fitzgerald, T O’Brien, N Kearney.

Junior A hurling.

Junior A hurlers play Ballylooby next weekend and a win will see them in to the semi-final stage.
