Juniors took on hibernians in a friendly game in Camden, in preparation for the big rival cup game next Sat against carrigaline. 7 changes from the last game saw a few youths entering the team. It was a big step up for the lads and an opportunity for players that hadn't played a match since before Christmas.. They played very well but seen themselves 2 goals down at half time. Second half saw a few fresh faces again join the team. Which saw youth player Darragh Cogan with a great half volley finish to bring the game to 2 – 1. Two great goals from hibs finished the game off. Score 4 – 1. But it was a great run out for the lads and always great to see youth players performing.
Next game is away to carrigaline in the cup on Saturday at 2ko.
