We thank the selectors Colm Duggan and James Ryan and the trainers Ciarán Mockler and Cathal Mahoney for the time and effort they put into getting this team to a South Final and a special word of thanks to the parents and grandparents who drove the players to training and matches over the last few months. Finally a word of thanks to the many supporters who travelled to Cahir last Thursday and to all the earlier games on the way to the South Final. We now turn our attention to hurling with the first round of championship due to start on july 4th. Lets hope the lads can again reach the south-final and hopefully go one better and win a south title.
Last weekend was a busy one for Niamh Keane of Cappagh Cloneen. On Saturday Niamh travelled to Birr where she helped Tipperary under 14 Ladies Footballers to victory over Leitrim in the All-Ireland Semi Final. On Sunday Niamh was in The Gaelic Grounds in Limerick lining out with the Tipperary Primary Schools Camogie team against Limerick. Niamh is the third generation of Keanes to wear the Blue and Gold.
