Conngrats Brian.

Heartiest congrats to Brian Horgan, selector, his co selectors and  their charges on the Tipperary minor hurling team that won the Munster final  with a hard fought victory over a gallant Clare side on Sunday last in Pairc Ui Caoimh. We also congratulate the Tipperary Senior hurlers on their great victory over Waterford later in the day and of course the Tipperary senior footballers for
their win over Wexford in Semple Stadium on Saturday last. The footballers now play Antrim in the next round of the qualifiers in Semple Stadium on Saturday next at 3pm. Support would be very much appreciated.

Co. Senior Hurling Championship.

Knockavilla Donaskeigh Kickhams face Kilruane Mc Donaghs in the Co. Senior Hurling Championship on Sunday evening next in Templetuohy, throw in at 7pm. This is a very important game for our boys where victory would resurrect our season once more. The club would ask all our supporters to travel in force and shout on the lads who have put in a huge effort this year. We wish the
management and entire panel the very best of luck on the night.

KNOCKAVILLA COMMUNITY COUNCIL NOTES;

Upcoming events.
The Community Council hopes to organise a leisure walk towards the end on July. This walk will commence at the Community hall and will take in some areas and points of historical interest around Knockavilla, and an informational talk will be given at these locations. The walk, which will be about 3 miles, will then end up back at the hall where refreshments will be served. A 5 euro
participation fee will be collected which will go towards the development work planned in the hall. A similar walk is also planned for the Dundrum area in August. Further details will be available in the next few weeks.

The committee would like to hear from the public, any ideas or activities they would like to be organised in the hall over the winter months, to cater for both adults and children. The Council would be only too happy to provide the hall for any such events or classes which may be required. Please contact any committee member with your suggestions.
